Best Western Beamish Hall contacted us as their image catalog required updating. The images were to be used on promotional materials, social media as well as in the development of their new website. Following the initial brief, we agreed the objective of the project; images that would be inviting to the viewer and also convey the quality and high standards the brand is already established for.

The requirements covered different areas of the business, including architectural and grounds, accommodation, Tea Rooms and the onsite Real Ale Brewery. This has been a particularly fun and rewarding project as we got to work in a fabulous location and with a very welcoming team.

There is something quite special about working with local business and we greatly enjoy maintaining an ongoing working partnership with Beamish. Some of the images have already been used in promotional materials and on social media channels and we take great pride in being our work published and associated with such a strong brand.

Feel free to explore our gallery for more images from this commercial shoot.

The overall quality of the photography and end product is exactly what we wanted. The team were very easy to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and the professionalism shown was second to none. I can highly recommend Cornell Images and will continue to utilise their expertise whenever we need any images or photography in the future.

Entrepreneurs Forum | Paula Radcliffe

Posted by on / 0 Comments

We had the pleasure of documenting Paula Radcliffe’s appearance at one of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum member recent events. The Forum supports entrepreneurs based in the north of England, helping them to develop, create new opportunities and grow their business.
Paula shared her story and journey in the sport in front of a packed audience of entrepreneurs that sought inspiration from her determination, grit and success on the world stage.
The list of Paula’s achievements and accolades is endless, including becoming world champion six times, world’s fastest female marathon runner and seven big city marathon wins.
The audience was given an insight in how Paula had fought every step of the way to achieve her goals, bouncing back from injury and inspiring a nation to get behind her along the way.
As part of the assignment, we produced images of the networking event prior to the keynote from Paula, her stage appearance and Q&A as well as partners and sponsors shots.
Please feel free to browse through some more images from the event here or get in touch if you would like us to document your next event.

Professional and very easy to work with. We received more images than expected, ahead of deadline and we are very happy with the results. Can highly recommend and have no hesitation in working with Cornell Images again.

The Steading | Dornoch

We had the pleasure of working with Balnapolaig Management on their latest venture, a stunning property in the Scottish Highlands. The Steading features 4 en-suite bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, breakfast area and is set on the idyllic eastern coast of Scotland.

The requirements of the project included indoor and outdoor shots to showcase the beautifully restored building, as well a small number of environmental/landscape photographs.

We unfortunately had to reschedule the first agreed date for the shoot due to adverse weather conditions and road closures in the Highlands, which brought the deadline for image delivery forward. This equated to a 4 day window to travel (700 miles round trip), shoot, edit and deliver all the images.

The drive was fantastic with absolutely stunning scenery and the shoot was equally enjoyable thanks to the brilliant and very accommodating Balnapolaig Management team.

We truly enjoyed being a part of this challenging, but very exciting project and already looking forward to our next trip to that beautiful part of the world.

Fantastic shots! Thank you again.
